Pearl Farm Island Resort

Located in a secluded Samal Island off the coast of Davao City, The Pearl Farm Island Resort is the best place to relax and unwind. It is about 45 minutes by boat from Davao City. Camsur, Philippines

Better known as CamSur, the province had a dramatic 117.2 % increase in tourists, welcoming an estimated 1.5 million visitors last year. In 2008, more than 720,000 went wakeboarding at the CamSur Watersports Complex. Events like the First Aqua Fest Celebrity Challenge, Ironman 70.3 Triathlon, International Dragon Boat Competition and Bagasbas Summer Surf gave travelers excellent reasons to visit this tourist spot in the Bicol region.

Boracay, Phlippines

Taiwanese tourists to the island paradise increased by 72% since China Airlines started chartering flights there twice a week. Shanghai Airlines flights from Shanghai and Philippine Airlines flights from Hangzhou also boosted arrivals to Boracay by 26%.

Puerto Princesa, Philippines

Upgrades done on the Puerto Princesa International Airport paved way for a 23% increase in foreign travelers and a 21% hike in domestic tourists. Local government efforts to develop eco-tourism has brought more visitors and has made them stay longer.

Davao, Philippines

Known for being the home of the country's highest peak, Davao also has visitors flocking to the Eden Nature Park and Crocodile Farm, two of the most popular tourist destinations in the city.

The opening of 1,056 new accommodation rooms in hotels improved the tourist activity in the country's busiest region. Last year, 20 cruise liners docked in Manila. Tourist arrivals from these ships marked a 2.24% growth from 17,516 visitors in 2008 to 17,908 in the previous year. Intramuros, a famous landmark in Manila, and Tagaytay are the two most-preferred places of visit. If you want a quick escape, rent a Private Pool in Metro Manila.

Bohol Panglao Island

Panglao is a 4th class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. It is an island situated in the Central Visayas, particularly located southwest of the island of Bohol and in the east of Cebu. Politically, it is divided into two municipalities: Dauis and Panglao, both Bohol Province. Panglao is well-known for its world class diving locations and many tourist resorts.

In the fourth spot, we have Siargao, the haven of surfers from all over the world. Popularly known as, “the surfing capital of the Philippines”. International Surfing Cup is held here annually.

Third on the list is another world class beach resort, Dakak. It is famous not only for its “powdery white sand” but also famous for its coral reefs and diving that is why it was named the “Diving Mecca in Mindanao”.

Vatican City, Italy

Situated in the middle of Rome is the smallest official country in the world, Vatican City. Covering a mere 0.44 square kilometres, whilst Vatican City may be known to many because of its size, being home to the Pope and centre of the Catholic religion, it is the buildings that are encompassed within the country that are the reason for its inclusion within this list.
The Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica and St Peter’s Square will all take your breath away themselves, without taking into consideration the amount of famous artwork that is on display within them.

City of London, England

Similar to Manhattan, New York, London – particularly the City of London – is one of the most visited cities in the world, as well as being one of the most densely populated.

London is one of those parts of the world that caters for everyone, being able to provide some type of beautifcation irrelevant of your personal tastes. The Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace are pieces of architectural beauty, whilst Hyde Park, Kensington Park and Regent’s Park all provide many square kilometres of natural beauty.

Oludeniz, Turkey

Great Barrier Reef, Australia

Officially the largest reef system on earth, the Great Barrier Reef has almost 3,000 reefs encompassed within the 2,600 kilometre area of land that it covers.
Although the Great Barrier Reef is clearly visible from space, it is when looking at it from underneath water when it truly appears to be beautiful and somewhat magical. Over 1,500 types of fish call the Great Barrier Reef home and in excess of 400 types of coral can be viewed in the area, meaning if you get chance to visit the area, you should make sure that you take along an underwater camera.

As one of the most popular tourist destinations and heavily populated places anywhere in the world, Manhattan offers something for everyone, including vast amounts beauty, irrelevant of what you consider to be beautiful.

Consisting of everything from individual monuments to expanses of water and ancient villages to modern cities, they may not all be attracting, appealing or aesthetically pleasing to everyone, but to some, they are some of the most stunning places on earth.

Pakistan is blessed with sights that are beautiful beyond words. Mother Nature has been very kind to Pakistan when it comes to natural beauty. Of course there are many incredible man-made structures built throughout the course of history but here we are just taking a look at the natural wonders of Pakistan.

Alhambra in Granada, Spain

The calm tinkle of water is the overriding first impression of the Alhambra palace. Built in a particularly arid spot, it is none the less a veritable park of water features; fountains run into ponds into little man made streams and channels into larger pools. The second thing you will probably notice about the Alhambra is the way, as the water features are like art, the rest of the details of the palace are as well: think intricate woodwork, careful mosaics and ceramics and complex calligraphy and designs rendered in plaster and tile.

A world heritage site, Westminster Abbey is a collegiate church and 'royal peculiar', responsible to the monarch rather than a bishop. Built and added to over a number of centuries, largely between 1245-1517 and again with towers built by Nicholas Hawksmoor in the 18th century, this church may not be the most impressive in terms of architecture, but as the burial place for English kings (starting with Edward the Confessor) and other worthies, it has important historic significance.

The Great Wall of China
A few hundred meters on as the arrow flies the people start to thin out and the going gets a little steeper, the final open section to the left has really steep stairs to climb and there was a nice sense of international camaraderie as people gee'd each other on to get to the top section, where, as well as an even more indescribable view there was a fellow wall walker singing songs from the Peking Opera? Strange and probably an impossibly unlikely one off but I'm sure it will be one of my enduring memories of this trip to Beijing. Also enjoying the entertainment were a group of pOlder people had stalls along the wall selling cold drinks, including beer which they kept offering all the men speaking English, they bring their wares up every day on mules, you can see the mules on the tracks beside the wall. eople working on repairing the next section of wall, with a horse who was looking precariously over the edge at us.

Taj Mahal tour is not only about the seeing the mausoleum in white marble, but also its surroundings, especially the Taj Garden - Charbagh. In Islamic style of architecture, the garden is not just another feature but has a well-defined meaning and it symbolizes the spirituality. According to the Holy Koran, a garden is symbolic of paradise. The Taj Garden covers most parts of the Taj. Out of a total area of 580 m by 300 m, the Taj Garden alone covers 300 m by 300 m. The guiding principle in creating this garden is one of the symmetry and it can be experienced everywhere. The four regions of the garden within the Charbagh are divided into 16 flowerbeds, making a total of 64. It is said that each flowerbed was planted with 400 plants. Trees were planted carefully in accordance with the symmetry of the overall plan. The trees, which were generally preferred, were either cypress (Cuprussus) (signifying death) or different fruit bearing trees (signifying life). These trees were home to many birds, which migrated from distant places to enhance the liveliness of the Taj Mahal.

The roman coliseum ("colosseum" or "colosseo") is probably the most ancient world renowned monument in Rome. It was one of the very first roman amphitheatres to be built. It is located between the Caelian

The Chocolate Hills of Bohol are a spectacular natural wonder in the Philippines. It consists of nearly 1800 small cute little hills that are spread over an area of 20 square miles. The hills are located in 3 towns of Bohol namely Carmen, Batuan and Sagbayan. A viewing station is available in the government resort Chocolate Hills Complex in the town of Carmen, Bohol which is a distance of about 34 miles from Tagbilaran City. Sagbayan Peak Mountain Resort offers an alternative viewing station of the world-renowned and popular Chocalate Hills in the town of Sagbayan, a distance of 47 miles from Tagbilaran City.

The Apo Reef Natural Park is the second largest coral reef system in the world after the Great Barrier Reef system in Queensland, Australia. The park is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Various marine species live in the reef area including corals, fishes, seaweeds, algae and mangrove trees. The park can be reached by means of boat in about 2 hours from
the island of Mindoro, a distance of 20 miles.

Subterranean River National Park -- Puerto Princesa, Palawan
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River is one of the world's longest underground river and the previous record holder of the longest underground river in the whole world. The Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to diverse species of plants and animals (flora and fauna). The park has over 800 plant species and over 300 animal species. Being 30 miles north of the city of Puerto Princesa (Palawan province), it is about 3 to 4 hours of travel by boat.

The Tubbataha Reefs National Marine Park is a sanctuary (government-protected conservation area) consisting of over 1000 species of marine creatures and birds. The Reef
is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the most popular Philippine diving site for tourists. The Tubbataha Reef has two coral reef atolls, the North and South Atoll. The Park can be reached via boat travel of 10 to 12 hours which is about 112 miles from Puerto Princesa city, the capital of Palawan province.
